Cambridge Programme
Cambridge programmes and qualifications prepare students for life – helping them to develop an informed curiosity and lasting passion for learning. Cambridge helps students develop thinking and learning skills – so they become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged - ready to tackle the demands of tomorrow’s world, and capable of shaping a better world for the future.
Here at Bradley Middle School, we are indeed excited to be part of the Cambridge programme, and we are looking forward to learning new, varied, and challenging ways of thinking, communicating, learning, and teaching. We will focus on the 5 Learner Attributes of the Cambridge program. Through these we will guide our students to Analyze information, Synthesize that information, and effectively Communicate their findings.
Students are also being taught how to be more reflective learners as they uncover their Multiple Intelligence(s) and enhance their natural flair for learning. Students will discover new, diverse ways of thinking and learning as they tap into their unexplored intelligence(s) to expand the scope of their education.
We are all expecting this year of Cambridge learning to be a great success! Our students will rise to the challenge ... and soon they will be well on their way to becoming lifelong learners.
First Quarter Updates
This quarter we will focus on the 5 Learner Attributes of the Cambridge programme. Please ask your student what these are ... he/she should be able to name these and have an intelligent conversation with you about what each one means!
Students will actively engage in extensive discussion, exchange ideas, research, think critically, and subsequently produce an end product/project. This innovative and creative task/product will detail behaviors that would indicate mastery of these five attributes, both as students at Bradley Middle School, and as responsible role players in a global society.
Very soon students will also be taught how to be more reflective learners as they uncover their Multiple Intelligences and enhance their natural flair for learning. Students will discover new, diverse ways of thinking and learning as they tap into their unexplored intelligence(s) to expand the scope of their education.
